  1. I used to have this game years ago when I was a kid. The only error I saw that they made was the fire master moved forward one space, when the rules state the first space everyone can only legally move to or through is the one on your left on the first turn from your home world. On subsequent turns you can go any of the 3 directions from your home planet. Its a little different for a 3 player game. My big brother whooped me the one time we played it. The rules are very difficult to understand though, for me back then anyway.

  2. Man, the 80's were absolutely wild. Apparently there just wasnt enough time in the day for both quality board games and cocaine.

  3. Man, I've completely taken for granted just how essential this series was to me in my late teens (like 2011/12). Aaron Yonda was one of my very few idols (which is a weird ass sentence, but still a fact), so I'm so glad you all kept on going, Sloanypoo and Capedate.

  4. This game needs a Stargatekeeper.
9:35 Never heard of Speech to Eldritch text? It's on the iNecronomicon X, which comes with apps like Instarcane and Whatshoggoth.
You'd be insane to buy one.

  5. I had this game when I was young. I still have it. It was probably the first "Complicated" game that I ever owned. We used to play it all the time. I have to admit that when I was young, I had a definite kid-crush on the Fire Master. She was all kinds of hot. The live action commercials for this game really sold it, and I would have killed to see a movie made from those adds. Watching those adds, you would think that the game was this cooperative, game full of action and politics, where everyone teams up to fight The Shadowlord and his minions. The people who made the adds really oversold what the game was, a complex strategy game that really didn't hinge on cooperation or action at all.

  6. Doug looked so old back in the Lost and Drunk episode. Now he looks like he’s in his 20’s with some Witcher vibes!

  7. The names of many of the game characters seem to be Danish (which I am myself), or at least Scandinavian – I have no idea why, but it makes for great exercises in pronunciation!

The two A'a in Aage would in Danish now be an Å (it sounds a lot like the 'O' in for example 'old')

  8. "Oh, Shadowlord, I love you Shadowlord. Come over here and give Weiss a big sloppy kiss, Shadowlord. Now pull you're head out of your goddamn ass and start fucking helping us!"

  9. So glad I found this channel again after so many years! Loved this when I was younger and its still awesome. Also love the low end theory shirt.

  10. So, this is "Krull: The Game," with its weird-ass combination of fantasy and sci fi? Great episode, either way!
